There would be a specific formula that you could use to grow your company in an ideal world. Unfortunately, no such formula exists. But, there are things you can do to help your company achieve success. For instance, you can consult with experts who have helped other brands achieve the same success that you’re seeking. They can help you come up with a roadmap and guide you over the speedbumps to reach the finish line. When it comes to growth experts, there’s none better than Greg Gillman

My Background

While I’m currently the Chief Revenue Officer at MuteSix, I didn’t start there. In fact, I actually started off as their first and only salesperson back when the entire company only had 20 employees. Along the way, I became well-versed in solving complex problems to create proven, turnkey solutions to help brands explode. MuteSix has since grown to over 350 employees and I now lead a sales team of 50 and counting.

Despite managing over 50 people, I like to take a personalized and involved approach. I’m constantly talking with my clients, attending meetings, and motivating my team. Through this approach, I have been able to help my clients achieve more than $4 billion in annual revenue. I have worked with businesses big and small, so I’m familiar with the challenges of each. Some examples of my clients include brands like Adidas, Petco, Ring, Theragun, and more.

Overall, I focus on omnichannel growth strategies for direct-to-consumer businesses to help them grow and reach their true potential.

How I’ve Helped Brands Explode

Here are some specific tactics that I have used to help brands explode — tactics that can work for your business too.

1. Social Media Expertise

When I work with your brand, the first thing I focus on is social media. In 2021, social media is a key component to building brands. Many businesses tend to focus on the obvious social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram while neglecting others like YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn, Snapchat, and even TikTok. I am well-versed in all of these platforms and can help your brand develop a comprehensive social media strategy that can effectively reach your target customers on their preferred platforms.

For instance, if your target group includes Generation Z or Millennials, then I can boost your presence on TikTok and Snapchat. If you’re trying to reach Baby Boomers, then you need to focus on Facebook.

No matter the platform, a successful social media strategy involves posting interesting content on a regular basis, engaging with your following, and investing in paid advertisements.

2. Influencer Partnerships

Within the realm of social media, I also work on influencer partnerships. Working with social media influencers is a great way to boost your brand awareness, improve your reputation, and build a clientele. Often the hardest aspect of influencer marketing involves identifying beneficial partners. Because I’m in contact with some of the biggest influencers, I can help you find the right match.

From there, I can help you establish a meaningful partnership. I can effectively speak the influencers’ language and communicate what’s in it for them. Influencing should involve a mutually beneficial relationship between brand and influencer. I communicate with the influencer throughout the campaign to provide clear instructions and expectations about the partnership. Thanks to this deliberate and tailored approach, your influencer campaigns will be extremely successful.

3. Branded Content Development

Moving away from social media, I also develop branded content. Developing branded content helps your brand build awareness without your target audience. Creating branded content will also help establish you as an expert within your field, promoting trust from consumers.

For instance, you may want to build branded content on your website in written blogs about issues relevant to your company or overall industry. You may also want to take a more interactive approach by incorporating branded content into your social media presence.

For example, you could post helpful tutorial videos for your products on YouTube. You could also go live on Facebook or Instagram to answer questions posted by followers.

I can help you develop a plan for the best locations for branded content and then come up with engaging, helpful, and meaningful content that sparks your customers’ interest.

4. Search Engine Optimization

The overall goal of SEO is to rank higher on Google so that people searching for your products or services choose your business. But how do you do this?

I know all about how to take advantage of Google’s algorithm to rank number one on Google. We can identify which keywords you want to rank higher in. From there, we can build backlinks for your brand on outside websites. We can also build internal content using the specific keywords that you want to rank higher in.

5. SMS and Email Marketing

Another area that I specialize in is SMS and email marketing. Email marketing, although well-established, is still a useful way to communicate with your customer base in 2021. With my help, I can build your email list, boost your open rates, and improve your conversion rates by using the right copy, graphics, and offers.

SMS is a marketing method specifically designed for our smartphone age. Again, I can help you build your SMS list and reach the right people with enticing offers that will drive them to make a purchase.

6. Localized Marketing Tactics

If you’re a local business, it can be difficult to come up with growth strategies that are often designed for online businesses. For instance, local SEO can be used to help your local business be recognized by Google.

I can also help you build your business profile on Google and other directories. I can help you find a local delivery partner to improve shipping times and costs. Finally, I can launch geofence marketing campaigns on social media that are able to target nearby individuals specifically.

7. Amazon and Google Marketing

Many businesses falsely assume that all of their marketing efforts should be spent on social media. While social media can be beneficial, it also has its weaknesses. For example, people on social media often do not have purchasing intent. Instead, they are simply looking to keep up with friends and family.

This is where marketing on platforms like Amazon and Google comes into play. People searching on these platforms already have purchasing intent — you just need to take advantage of it. I can help you do this by using effective product and brand advertisements using the right keywords and targeting mechanisms.
